Sbuzz is a weekly Twitter chat for Indian startup entrepreneurs to come and network with other startups, learn the trends, take advice, share office, etc. The goal is create a strong ecosystem where information flows freely. How to get started?

  • If you have Tweetdeck or Hootsuite to manage Twitter feeds, create a separate column for #sbuzz or you could use Tweetchat to manage the chat easily
  • Join this LinkedIn group for Indian startup founders – we will make sure you won’t be spammed by promotions and offers
  • Fill this spreadsheet about your startup wishlist - so that we could help you accordingly.

Time: The first chat is between 3 to 4 pm IST on 27/7/11. From the following week, we will reschedule it – to accomodate for participants from the US, Singapore & Europe - to 11am to 12 noon on all wednesdays.

Venue: We will use Twitter chat for now, though we will also G+ hangouts and other tools eventually

Chat Rules:

  • Use #sbuzz in all your tweets related to this chat.
  • For the first 30 min (3 to 3:30) we will use for networking. Each participant will give a short summary of their startup and other participants can pose questions to them (using @ reply). Fill up the wishlist form before the chat, to save time.
  • From 3:30 we will take a topic and discuss that. For the Week 1 – the topic will be the top issues faced by entrepreneurs in India. To ask a question, put Q followed by the serial number (follow the last serial number used and do a +1). To answer a question, put A followed by the question number you are referring to.
  • At 4pm we will end the formal discussion – though participants can feel free to continue the interactions in their timeline.
  • At the end of the chat I will collect the transcript and post it in TheAgni. Participants who have participated actively and usefully will be featured.
