Finding a co-founder is one of the most critical things for a startup. Running a startup is hard enough thing to run as a team, and running alone could be a nightmare. One of the best places to find your cofounder is tapping your network of friends, colleagues and classmates. Apart from LinkedIn and tapping your collage/school contacts, you can use some of these dedicated tools to find your co-founder.
Foundrs.com – Provides an online virtual incorporation that is accepted in the US and a few other countries. This helps you to find and partner with cofounders while reducing risk and red tape.
Partnerup.com – Users can connect to other entrepreneurs and network in a facebook wall like interface.
TechCoFounder.com - Wannabe entrepreneurs can create their profile for free and startups can post wanted cofounder ad for $99.
KoFounder.com – You need to login to create an idea and get reviewed by the crowd who can tag it as rocks or sucks. Most of the ideas are whacky though.
FindMyCofounder.com – This is a simple listing site where you can specify geography and skillsets. But their data is sparse for India.
